Abstract: This talk is based on two recent papers: 1. “On the Pointwise Behavior of Recursive Partitioning and Its Implications for Heterogeneous Causal Effect Estimation” and 2. “Convergence Rates of Oblique Regression Trees for Flexible Function Libraries” 1.
